END OF SEASON UPDATE 

What a fantastic summer we have had. Our two courts have been used regularly even throughout the hot weather. Social mix ins, matches, coaching, and general club members enjoying singles and doubles.

 

Our teams have enjoyed success in the East Hants league:

• Ladies A finished second in Division 1

• Men's A finished second in Division 2 

• Men's B finished fifth in Division 2

• Mixed A finished fourth in Division 1 

• Mixed B finished fourth in Division 2 

 

Over 25 people have represented HTC this summer season. Our thanks go to all players for putting little Headley well and truly on the map. Our teams continue to compete throughout the winter.

 

Our grand slam social mix ins have not been very popular, and these will be reconsidered next season. Any ideas gratefully received. 

Our Tuesday and Thursday morning mix ins are still very popular and will continue throughout the winter.

 

GOTENNIS coaching programme is steadily growing. Monday Rusty Rackets and Advanced Team Training are now regular sessions. See Coaching page for more information.

Our new singles league organised by Charlie Carver gives members the opportunity to practice their singles game in a competitive situation and keep fit!! The winter season league is reset on October 1st.

There is no pressure to play lots of games, just play as and when you challenge someone. Although the more you play the greater the chance of winning. Congratulations to Charlie Carver who topped the inaugural league.

 

Fundraising is much needed and we have our annual quiz on November 6th. The finals day raffle raised £150.
